Proper use of an electric bicycle battery

1.Battery charging

• First connect the charger to the power outlet, then to the battery.
• Charge only in a dry and well-ventilated area.
• After charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the power supply.
• Standard charging time is 4–6 hours.
• Do not leave the battery charging unattended.

2.Charging in winter

• After exposure to cold, allow the battery to warm up for at least 1 hour.
• Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 10°C.

3.While riding

• Make sure the battery is securely mounted.
• Optimal temperature range: 10–30°C.
• Avoid fully discharging the battery.

4.Long-term storage

• Charge the battery to approximately 50%.
• Store at a temperature of 10–20°C.
• Recharge every 2–3 months.

What NOT to do

• Do not open the battery casing – there is a risk of electric shock or fire.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or leave it in a hot vehicle.
• Do not charge or store the battery on wet surfaces.
• Do not immerse in water or expose it to rain or moisture.
• Do not leave the charger connected unattended overnight..
• Do not throw into fire,do not puncture, hit, or crush the battery.

• Do not leave an unused battery fully charged or fully discharged for long periods.
• Do not store batteries at temperatures above 40°C or below 0°C.

• Hot when idle
• Emits a burning smell
• Has visible bulges or cracks
• Does not charge properly

• Do not charge the battery
• Contact a service center for inspection

• Securely mounted
• No looseness in the holder
• No visible damage
